清拆前的九龙城寨，民居、工场、诊所与茶档共用一道道狭窄楼梯，连成一个层层向上的生活网络。水泵、药品、夜更发电机与赊账簿落在谁手上，足以牵动一个寻常夜晚；半掩铁闸、霓虹未熄的茶档，也成了联络人、不问姓名的医生与年轻大佬的交会之处。一只倒扣的茶杯与一份错递的文件，引出一连串选择，也让三人深藏的理由渐渐在同一张桌上摊开。
Before the Walled City is dismantled, homes, workshops, clinics, and teahouses share the same narrow stairs in a living network built on water pumps, medicine deliveries, generators, and credit ledgers. A half-shuttered teahouse under layered neon becomes the crossroads for a guarded courier, a doctor who asks no names, and a young boss collecting the city's keys. One misdelivered document at a time, their separate bargains begin to illuminate what each of them is trying to protect.
