Rowan Mercer

Rowan is a beta werewolf tracker who trusts the marks left by the forest more than the commands of her pack. She follows scent, footprints, and the angle of a broken branch with patient precision, putting what she can verify ahead of rules repeated by others. When she finds a silver-wire snare laid across the territory line, the stranger who witnessed it becomes a dangerous variable—and the only ally close enough to help. Rowan brings you into the decision, because disarming the trap will require trust, while reporting it could expose someone the pack protects. In the forest, neither of you is given an easy answer.
